SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: CRAZY LONG TEST DRIVE?

Reported at 4:24 p.m. May 14: A vehicle from Autonation Ford  in Frisco was stolen from the 5900 block of Del Roy Drive.

13 Monday

A criminal trespass warning was issued at Street’s Fine Chicken on Forest Lane at 3:27 p.m.

Theft and criminal trespassing citations were issued at NorthPark Center at 5:54 p.m.

Before 6:23 p.m., a thief stole from an 84-year-old Dallas woman at Lowe’s Home Improvement Store on Inwood Road.

A criminal trespass warning was issued at NorthPark Center at 9:04 p.m. The man, a 20-year-old, was also cited for public intoxication and possession of marijuana.

14 Tuesday

Reported at 12:32 a.m.: A vehicle parked at Bucca Di Peppo on Park Lane was broken into, and property was stolen, sometime on May 13.

Reported at 1:03 p.m.: A burglar on May 13 forced open a window on a Yukon parked at the Preston Center and stole property.

Reported at 1:45 p.m.: A vehicle was stolen from the 5300 block of Boca Raton Drive.

Reported at 4:47 p.m.: Property was stolen from a home in the 12200 block of Marbrook Drive.

An assault with a glass bottle was reported at 9:19 p.m. at Preston Valley Shopping Center.

Reported at 11:59 p.m.: A person involved in an accident in the 6300 block of Lyndon B. Johnson freeway fled the scene.

15 Wednesday

Reported at 4:13 a.m.: the burglary of a pickup truck in the 6100 block of Northaven Drive.

Reported at 7:46 a.m.: Property was stolen from unlocked vehicles parked in the 5900 block of St. Mark’s Circle.

A storage container at Eatzi’s Market and Bakery at the Pavilion on Lover’s Lane was broken into at 4:27 p.m.

16 Thursday

Reported at 7:51 a.m.: the May 15 burglary of a vehicle at a home in the 5800 block of Colhurst Street.

At 12:02 p.m., a 38-year-old woman in the 8600 block of Chadbourne Road received a threatening phone call.

Arrested at 12:05 p.m.: A 43-year-old man accused of refusing to leave after receiving a criminal trespass warning at The Hockaday School on Welch Road.

Reported at 12:15 p.m.: A locked vehicle in the 4900 block of Amherst Avenue was broken into on May 15, and property was stolen.

Reported at 12:59 p.m.: Property was stolen from Ulta at Preston Forest Village on May 15.

Arrested at 1:39 p.m.: a 30-year-old man accused of shoplifting from Macy’s at NorthPark Center. 

A 27-year-old woman suffered a dog bite to her face at 2:19 p.m. at the Preston Royal Southwest.

17 Friday

Reported at 9:01 a.m.: A vehicle was stolen from the 8400 block of Swananoah Drive on May 16.

Reported at 10:32 a.m.: A vehicle parked at apartments in the 3800 block of Northwest Highway on May 15 was broken into, and property was stolen.

Property was stolen from a vehicle at the Pavilion at Lovers Lane at 11:27 a.m.

Reported at 11:35 a.m.: Property was stolen from Ulta at Preston Forest Village on May 16.

Reported at 2:27 p.m.: A vehicle parked at NorthPark Center was broken into, and property stolen.

A vehicle damaged another vehicle parked in the 4700 block of Lyndon B. Johnson freeway at 4:12 p.m.

Before 6:12 p.m., a car thief took a vehicle from the 7200 block of Glendora Avenue.

A vehicle parked at NorthPark Center had its window broken at 5:44 p.m.

Reported at 9:01 p.m.: a vehicle burglary outside Fireside Pies on Inwood Road.

18 Saturday

Sometime after midnight: A threat was reported from Medical City on Forest Lane.

Reported at 12:33 a.m.: A vehicle parked at NorthPark Center was broken into, and property stolen, on May 17.

Arrested at 11:03 a.m.: a 38-year-old man accused of shoplifting from Macy’s at NorthPark Center.

Reported at 11:07 a.m.: Property was stolen from Giant Bicycles Preston Hollow on Northwest Highway on May 17.

Reported at 5:43 p.m.: A shoplifter slipped out with stolen merchandise from The Gap at Preston Oaks Shopping Center.

Arrested at 7:08 p.m.: two men, ages  32 and 21, who were accused of shoplifting from Gucci at NorthPark Center.

19 Sunday

Sometime after midnight: Vantec Flooring plywood was stolen from a Daum Homes construction site at the 4300 block of Sexton Lane.

Reported at 2:42 a.m.: Vandals damaged property at Ulta Beauty in Preston Forest Village.

Reported at 8:36 a.m.: A truck was stolen from the 9100 block of Valley Chapel Lane on May 18.

Arrested at 5:04 p.m.: a 54-year-old man accused of shoplifting from Macy’s at NorthPark Center.

Reported at 5:14 p.m.: A burglar on May 18 broke a window and stole property from a vehicle at Good Shepard Episcopal School on Midway Road.
