Highland Park showed plenty of offensive firepower in sweeping its three games at the Round Rock ISD tournament over the weekend.

The Lady Scots (5-0-1) outscored their three opponents by a combined margin of 14-1, earning victories over Tomball Memorial 2-0, The Woodlands College Park 7-1, and Belton 5-0.

Presley Echols scored three goals against Belton, while Rachel Wasserman added two. Other goal-scorers for the Lady Scots in the tournament included Frances Ann Matise, Sarah O’Neal, Sierra Jones, Mackenzie Zimmerman, and Ryan Bozman.

On the boys side, HP dropped two of three games at the Governor’s Cup in Georgetown. The Scots (2-4) were shut out by Georgetown and Conroe but scored a 2-0 win over Thomas Jefferson behind goals from Garrett Nemeth and Will Berry.
