Skulduggery of the week: Bang Bang Into The Room

After 10:15 p.m. on April 25, a resident of an apartment in the 4500 block of Abbott Avenue reported a visitor was drunk and would not leave. The visitor damaged a door with a hammer when the resident locked himself in the bedroom. At 11:08 p.m., Bettina Montalvo, 55, of Dallas, was arrested in the 4500 block of Abbott Avenue on a charge of criminal mischief.

HIGHLAND PARK

30 SATURDAY
Between 6 p.m. on April 26 and 10 p.m. on April 30, a vandal caused $3,000 in damage to a blue 1995 Porsche in the 4200 block of Oak Lawn Avenue.

At 11:34 p.m., Marvin Alonzo Martinez, 28, of Dallas, was arrested on Beverly Drive and St. Johns Drive on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

 

UNIVERSITY PARK

25 MONDAY
Between 5 p.m. on April 21 and 8:19 a.m. on April 25, a vandal threw eggs at a vehicle in the 3500 block of Rosedale Avenue.

26 TUESDAY
At 12:36 p.m., an armed robber stole money from Bank of Texas in the 6700 block of Preston Road.

At 1:21 p.m., the owner of a blue 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee reported a thief had entered the vehicle between 7 p.m. on April 22 and 2:30 p.m. in the 2900 block of Dyer Street on April 24 and stole a $20 hand tool, a $30 sculpture, $80 in Apple Software, three $100 paintings, and a $1,100 Samsung television.

27 WEDNESDAY
Between 4:30 p.m. on April 26 and 8:45 a.m. on April 27, a burglar broke into a house in the 3400 block of Stanford Avenue and stole a $4,500 kitchen appliance.

Between 8 a.m. on April 22 and 1:40 p.m. on April 27, a burglar broke into a gray 2011 GMC Yukon in the 6700 block of Westchester Drive and stole the third-row seat.

    Sounds like Bettina Montalvo and an apartment door both got hammered.
