Arrest Warrant Issued in Snider Plaza Robbery
University Park Police have issued an arrest warrant for Brittany Giles, 26, in the Snider Plaza Shell station purse snatching case, KTVT-TV (CBS11) reports.
On Jan. 29 a woman, identified as Giles by UPPD, held a knife to the throat of Emily Smith’s seven-year-old son while Smith’s back was turned and stole her purse. Smith vividly recalls the robbery in the video from CBS 11 above.
Giles was later caught on NorthPark Center surveillance cameras charging more than $13,000 on Smith’s stolen credit cards, police said.
