Join a Campaign to Stamp Out Stigma

The Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute, with the support of Mark Cuban and Emmitt Smith, has launched a new state movement today to wipe out the stigmas around mental illnesses and start a conversation.

“I’m old enough to remember when women didn’t talk about having breast cancer. Now it’s OK to say you have breast cancer,” says institute founder Tom Luce in the video. “We need to get to the point where it’s OK to say, ‘I need help.’ It’s OK to say, ‘I’m dealing with depression.'”

To join the campaign, you can make a pledge on okaytosay.org and share your mental health stories on social media with #OkaytoSay.
