SMASH AND GRAB BURGLARS GO CUCKOO FOR COCO (CHANEL)
Between 7:29 and 10:45 a.m. on Jan. 18, seven lawbreakers broke into the Chanel store at Highland Park Village. The horde stole a pair of $1,400 women’s shoes and 45 handbags, valued between $2,000 and $15,000. Antonio Maurice Cobb Jr., 34; Charles Brown, 18, of Chicago; Lamario Lamate Peel, 21, of Chicago; Jesse Foster, 23, of Chicago; Jake Tesean Adams, 20, of Chicago; and two juveniles were arrested on the charges of burglary in the 4400 block of Potomac Avenue, the 4400 block of Normandy Avenue, and Germany Park. 18 MONDAY
At 4:49 a.m., Eduardo Lopez-Teran, 32, was arrested on the charge of driving while intoxicated in the 5000 block of Airline Road.
Between 6 p.m. on Jan. 17 and 8 p.m. on Jan. 18, a vandal damaged a white 1999 Ford truck in the 4500 block of Fairway Avenue.
19 TUESDAY
At 11:34 p.m., Luis David Salguero Fraire, 22, of Dallas was arrested on the charge of public intoxication in the 4500 block of Abbott Avenue.
20 WEDNESDAY
Between 6:40 and 7 a.m., a thief stole a street sweeper, valued at $750, from a valet parking area in the 6400 block of North Central Expressway.
At 11:13 a.m., an employee of Jos A. Bank in the 4200 block of Oak Lawn Avenue reported six men’s suits, valued at $4,200, missing.
21 THURSDAY
Between 5:46 and 5:53 p.m., thieves stole three purses, for a total of $6,930, from Yves Saint Lauren in Highland Park Village.

18 MONDAY
At 8:15 a.m., a burglar stole a $400 Felt boys bike and a $35,000 white 2014 Lexus 350 that was being warmed from a residence in the 4300 block of Emerson Avenue.
Between 8 a.m. on Dec. 1 and 5 p.m. on Jan. 18, a burglar broke into an office in the 6400 block of North Central Expressway and stole $500 in property.
19 TUESDAY
Between noon and 1 p.m., a thief stole a $400 Swagway hoverboard from the 4500 block of Stanhope Drive.
20 WEDNESDAY
Between 9 p.m. on Jan. 19 and 10 a.m. on Jan. 20, a burglar broke into a black 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe in the 3400 block of Marquette Street and stole the third-row seat.
21 THURSDAY
At 2:17 a.m., Elizabeth Grace Zales, 19, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication in the 2800 block of Fondren Drive.
