Friday presents a rare chance for Highland Park fans to watch their team at home during the playoffs. It also provides an opportunity to donate to the football program at the annual Caniac Supper.

The dinner, featuring meals from Raising Cane’s, is slated for 5-7 p.m. on Friday in the HPHS cafeteria, with take-out available from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the school’s west parking lot.

Tickets are $10 each, and the event also includes live entertainment and a silent auction that includes items such as a Matthew Stafford autographed football, a Big Green egg grill, and custom HP cowboy boots.

Once your stomach is full, you can walk on over to Highlander Stadium, where the Scots will put their eight-game winning streak on the line against Irving Nimitz in the bi-district round of the Class 6A Region II playoffs.
