Highland Park is looking for more hardware this week at the Class 6A team tennis state tournament in College Station.

The Scots (23-0), of course, have brought home a state title in seven consecutive years, including their first 6A season a year ago.

In last year’s final, the Scots defeated perennial power New Braunfels 10-7. The two longtime state rivals match up again in the semifinals on Wednesday, with the winner facing either Plano West or unbeaten Houston Memorial for the championship on Thursday.

HP rolled past Plano West 10-2 during the regular season, and was only seriously challenged once, during an 11-8 victory over Southlake Carroll. The Scots shut out 11 of their 23 opponents.
