DSM Academy to Hold Fall Musical Classes
Dallas Summer Musicals and the Park Cities YMCA are teaming up to offer a series of Saturday workshops for young thespians this fall at Central Christian Church.
Through the DSM Academy of Performing Arts, one set of classes for ages 10 and up will prepare students for the world premiere of the high-energy musical Do You Wanna Dance? at the Uptown Theater in Grand Prairie on Nov. 21.
No theatrical experience is necessary to participate. Auditions will be held on the first day of classes this Saturday. The cost is $529 (or $429 for YMCA members), and you can register here. For more information, call Ty Lawrence at 214-498-5434.
