Marcus named UD Distinguished Alumna

Park Cities resident Nancy Marcus received one of four 2015 Distinguished Alumni Awards from the University of Dallas National Alumni Board, the highest honor given to UD alumni.

The winners will be honored at a reception on Oct. 3 at the Omni Dallas Hotel.

Marcus, a philanthropist, leader in education, and patron of the arts, has also received a presidential appointment as a U.S. Public Delegate to the 56th session of the United Nations General Assembly and a gubernatorial appointment to the State of Texas Commission on 21st Century Colleges and Universities. She is a fellow at the Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture and a faculty member of SMU’s Master’s of Liberal Studies Program.
