Children’s Cancer Fund Launch

The Children’s Cancer Fund, a Dallas-based non-profit organization that supports families of children with cancer while raising money for research, held its 27th annual luncheon and fashion show Friday, April 17, 2015 at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas. The luncheon hosted 21 cancer patients from Children’s Medical Center with a day away from the hospital, the patients were joined by up to 100 children who are pediatric cancer survivors.

Each of the 21 children was asked to submit an original piece to be featured in the 2015 Children’s Cancer Fund Inspiration Book. Celebrity VIPs arrived at 10 a.m. for a special reception where the artwork was displayed.

This year’s guests included longtime event chairmen Roger Staubach, who has chaired the event for all 27 years, and Troy Aikman, who has co-chaired for the past 18 years. Clarice Tinsley and Steve Eager served as mistress and master of ceremonies.
