Police Report: November 24 to November 30

Skullduggery of the week: Officer Not a Gentleman

At 3:18 a.m. on Nov. 30, Aaron Rodarte, 25, of Irving, an officer with the Dallas Police Department, was arrested in the 4500 block of Mockingbird Lane on charges of driving while intoxicated and evading arrest. Rodarte has been placed on administrative leave by DPD, pending an investigation. He is assigned to the department’s South Central Patrol Division.

HIGHLAND PARK

24 MONDAY
At 4:05 p.m., Douglas Dion Hoedebeck, 55, of Garland was arrested in the 5600 block of Preston Road on three drug-possession charges.

25 TUESDAY
Between 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 24 and 5:45 a.m. on Nov. 25, a thief stole a black 2012 Ford F-150 pickup in the 4400 block of Lorraine Avenue.

Between 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 24 and 6:15 a.m. on Nov. 25, a thief entered an unlocked gray Mercedes SUV in the 4300 block of Versailles Avenue and stole a $2,000 pair of prescription sunglasses, a $100 pair of Oliver Peoples sunglasses, and a wallet containing $100 in cash.

Between 9 p.m. on Nov. 24 and 7:15 a.m. on Nov. 25, a thief stole $3 in cash from an unlocked white 2004 Toyota 4Runner in the4600 block of Livingston Avenue. In the same block, a miscreant rummaged through an unlocked silver 2010 Lexus sedan during the same time frame, although nothing was reported stolen.

Between midnight and 11:30 a.m., a burglar broke into a black 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe in the 4400 block of Lorraine Avenue and stole a Escort radar detector, and a wallet containing $20 in cash. In the same block, a burglar broke into a black 2011 Toyota 4Runner during the same time frame, and stole a $200 pair of Oakley sunglasses and a $150 iPod.

26 WEDNESDAY
At 2:18 p.m., a resident of the 4400 block of Edmondson Avenuereported the theft of a compressor as well as various hand tools and household goods from an open detached garage sometime between Oct. 26 and Nov. 26.

28 FRIDAY
At 2:15 a.m., Phillip Aaron Graham, 29, of Forney was arrested in the 4200 block of Oak Lawn Avenue on a public intoxication charge.

Between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., a burglar broke into a white 2012 Ford Taurus in the 4200 block of Oak Lawn Avenue but did not steal anything.

UNIVERSITY PARK

25 TUESDAY
Between 9 p.m. on Nov. 24 and 12:25 a.m. on Nov. 25, a thief entered an unlocked black 2010 Ford F-150 pickup in the 4200 block of Bryn Mawr Drive and stole a $300 radar detector, $200 worth of hand tools, a $160 Beretta rifle, and a $10 flashlight.

At 10:57 p.m., a burglar broke into a black 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe atSnider Plaza and stole a $138 set of Infiniti brake pads.

26 WEDNESDAY
Between 7 p.m. on Nov. 25 and 7:25 a.m. on Nov. 26, a burglar broke into a yellow 2003 Hummer H2 in the 3400 block of Daniel Avenue and stole $655 worth of tennis racquets and $674 in miscellaneous items.

28 FRIDAY
Between 8 p.m. on Nov. 27 and 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 28, a burglar broke into a silver 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe in the 4400 block of Glenwick Lane but didn’t steal anything.

29 SATURDAY
At 4:02 a.m., a thief stole a $200 Canon camera from an unlocked silver 2014 Acura SUV in the 3900 block of Purdue Street.

At 5:27 a.m., Rose Chomba, 29, of Plano was arrested in the 7000 block of Lomo Alto Drive on a public intoxication charge.

30 SUNDAY
At 3:55 a.m., Michael Brian Holder, 21, of Dallas, was arrested in the 4400 block of Purdue Street on a public intoxication charge.
