Early Numbers: Meyer Leads at 60 Percent

Dallas County Elections reports Republican Morgan Meyer leading against Democrat Leigh Bailey in the Texas House District 108 race with 60.99 percent of the vote. These numbers are still listed “unofficial” and only three precincts are reporting at this time.

In closer races, District Attorney hopeful Susan Hawk is only leading incumbent Craig Watkins with 50.12 percent of the  vote, with 158 precincts reporting. That will continue to be a race to watch through the night.

Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins is leading Republican challenger Ron Natinsky with 54.86 percent of votes, with 158 precincts reporting.

Unsurprisingly, veteran Geraldine “Tincy” Miller is leading the State Board of Education District 12 race with 57.77 percent of the votes. That’s with 50 precincts reporting.
