The season-opening performance might be a little scary for any orchestra, but that holds true for a different reason for the Highlander Strings on Tuesday.

The orchestra will perform its annual “Hauntcert” at 7 p.m. at NorthPark Center, in the first-level plaza below the AMC movie theater.

The musicians will be in costume, and will perform some Halloween-themed selections in their playlist including Thriller, Phantom Tango, In the Hall of the Mountain King, and the James Bond theme.

The concert is free and open to the public, of course, and also will feature an appearance by the Highland Park Middle School orchestra.
