Historical Society Gets Sneak Peek at Exhibit
Have you been to the State Fair yet? If not, be sure to add the “Texas Sports Legends” exhibit to your agenda. It’s put on through a partnership between the Dallas Historical Society and the State Fair.
On Sept. 23, “fellows” from the Dallas Historical Society got to take a sneak peak — these “fellows” are donors whose contributions to the Society totaled at least $1,500. Items in the exhibit include Tom Landry’s championship rings, Nastia Liukin’s world-championship medals, and Davey O’Brien’s Heisman trophy.
The Fair is open through Oct. 19.
