Pierce Allman will share his tale of a legendary day in history as part of The Sixth Floor Museum’s October Living History Program on Saturday.

On Nov, 22, 1963, Allman — then a program director for WFAA radio, decided to cover President John F. Kennedy’s visit to Dallas. After shots were fired at the motorcade, Allman asked a man where he could find a phone to alert the radio station. He later learned that man was Lee Harvey Oswald.

Allman, a Park Cities resident, will share his recollections at 2 p.m. The Living History Series consists of firsthand accounts from historic events of the early 1960s. Tickets are $10 for the program only or $5 with museum admission. Advanced tickets can be purchased here.
