University Park Adds New Position at City Hall

Last Thursday, the University Park City Council voted to create an “assistant city manager” position. Robbie Corder, who has served as community development director with the city since 2008, will take on the role officially in October. The intent is that he will move onto city manager when Bob Livingston retires. But until then, he will also continue to lead the community development department.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity; it’s a wonderful community,” Corder said. “We’ve got great employees, great schools, great residents, and a forward-thinking city council, so I’m just terribly excited to get started and to expand my horizons, so to speak.”

Congratulations, Robbie!
