Ward – Powell
Mr. and Mrs. Randall Scott Ward of Longview, Texas, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Renee Ward, to Luke Hutcheson Powell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Loyd W. Powell Jr. of Highland Park.
Jamie is the granddaughter of Mr. Jack Ward of Longview, Mrs. Sharon Camp of Kilgore, Texas and Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Crutcher of Stanwood, Wash. Luke is the grandson of Rosa Ella Hutcheson and the late Dr. Zenas W. Hutcheson Jr. of Amarillo, Texas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Loyd W. Powell Sr. of Dallas.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Christian Heritage School in Longview and a 2012 graduate of Baylor University. Jamie is the director of marketing at the Ward Agency.
The groom is a 2008 graduate of Highland Park High School. He graduated from Baylor University in 2012. Luke is a landman for Cholla Petroleum in Midland, Texas.
The couple will exchange vows Aug. 24 at the First Baptist Church in Longview.
