UP Photographer is in Group Show
I profiled University Park photographer Dick Washburne back in March, after an interview at his home-studio that a coworker and I dragged out for almost two hours. Once we saw the quality of his work, we threw question after overlapping question at this patient, candid man — covering everything from camera techniques to “Good lord, please tell me that’s for sale”-type stuff. We’ve never forgotten him.
Anyway, Sun to Moon, the gallery that represents Washburne (exclusively, last I heard), is celebrating its 11th anniversary with a big group show and holiday open house at 5 p.m. Saturday. He’ll be there, as will other area photographers. And if I wasn’t leaving town that night, I’d go clean up on some Christmas shopping. Just saying.
