Bowl & Barrel Set to Open Nov. 28

There will soon be a new date night option in town.

Bowl & Barrel, Dallas’ new boutique bowling alley, will open at The Shops at Park Lane at the end of the month.

If you’re like me, your bowling days consisted of color-blocked shoes, lukewarm nachos, and strobe lights, so talks of a boutique bowling alley might have your head spinning.

Let me break it down for you.

The 15,000 square-foot space will be equipped with 15 lanes, a private event space, and a full-service restaurant that seats 150. Some good news for bowling enthusiasts: playing with your food is also an option. The restaurant will deliver food right to your lane so you will never miss a strike (or in my case, a gutter ball). Menu items include chef Sharon Hage’s baked pretzels, sandwiches, hot dogs, and an oyster program.

The new venue is the brainchild of Kyle Noonan and Josh Sepkowitz of Free Range Concepts. It will be open seven days a week starting Nov. 28.

Can’t wait to try it out, souds like a great concept. Anyone know if they’ll be open during the day for a more family environment? So much closer than 300.

We have family coming for Thanksgiving, it would have been a perfect place nearby for a little tournament (we’re a competitive lot). Might have to try 300, haven’t been there yet.

Congrats, Kyle! May you have raging success and a great future. Sounds like a wonderful idea. Why am I not surprise that it came from you? Hugs, Mrs. K.
