Musician Tiger Darrow Will Perform at NorthPark

Tiger Darrow's album You Know Who You Are

Tiger Darrow, a past Booker T. Washington student and musician will play a concert from 6 to 7 p.m. this Thursday at NorthPark Center as a part of Rue Magazine’s Gap Styld.By Rue Collaboration.

The event name is long and I believe is celebrating the Gap’s style blog working together with the magazine for a new venture. In any regard, her show should be interesting to see. Her music weaves strings and simple arrangements with her calm, and somewhat calculated, vocals. Her overall body of work ranges with her newer songs and can be reminiscent of Regina Spektor or Ingrid Michaelson, IMO.

If she looks familiar, you may recognize her from her appearances in Robert Rodriguez’s work — specifically the Spy Kids series.

Those joining in the festivities will get a performance from DJ Adam Pickrell, treats, and drinks as well as 30 percent off one regular price GAP item from 6 to 8 p.m.

Those interested should RSVP at [email protected].
