Thanks For Sending me Reaching For The Advil, Children of The Park Cities
While the rest of you spent your Independence Day relaxing, or maybe grilling, chilling, or a combination of the two, I spent it pulling soaking wet tweens, barely buoyant boys, and runny-facepainted goobers out of a dunk tank. By my estimation, I pulled at least 75 kids out of the Park Cities People dunk tank yesterday in Goar Park, and got dunked at least 10 times.
And I’d do it again, because we raised close to $500 in two hours for Mad For Plaid. Which, remarkably, is the bill I’ll likely have waiting for me from Baylor after my hernia surgery. Til next year.
