Highlands Bank Robbed in Preston Oaks Shopping Center
At almost noon, Wednesday, a man entered Highlands Bank at Preston Oaks Shopping Center and handed over a note that said he had a gun and demanded money from the bank, according to a police report. He took an undetermined amount of money from the bank and fled on foot.
The chief marketing officer of Viewpoint Bank, who acquired Highlands Bank a few months ago, declined to use her name and said they are following every protocol with police to help catch the robber.
“It’s very fortunate that no one was hurt,” she said.
