District 10-4A Openers Tonight in Rockwall
As long as Mother Nature cooperates, the Highland Park baseball and softball teams will both open District 10-4A play tonight in Rockwall.
The Scots (7-3-1) are coming off a strong showing in the Arlington Martin Tournament. Highland Park beat Arlington Martin, Coppell, and Arlington Martin, while losing to Colleyville Heritage and tying Mansfield. All three of the Scots’ losses this season have been by one run. Rockwall comes in with a 9-1 record. First pitch is at 7:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, the Lady Scots (7-10) are looking to end a 10-game losing skid against the Lady Jackets (3-6). Highland Park did not score a single run in four games during last week’s Ennis Tournament. First pitch is at 7 p.m.
