Ro2 Show Extends by Popular Demand

If you caught our Aug. 19 cover story about Ro2 Art a multi-gallery endeavor between Highland Park grad Jordan Roth and his mother, Susan Roth Romans — there’s more good news to pass along: “Import,” the latest exhibition at Ro2 Uptown in the West Village, has been extended by popular demand through Sept. 3, and will include an artists’ talk next Thursday.

The show includes the work of Dallas artists Eric Eley, John Frost, and Ryder Richards. Richards, mind you, is the sort of guy who works in gold leaf and gunpowder, and he’s apt to set his work on fire. Now you can ask him how he does it.

Meanwhile, a quick correction: said Aug. 19 story noted artist/medical doctor Fannie Brito as being a native of Mexico. She’s not; Brito is Venezuelan, and studied in Mexico. My apologies!
