Mattie Roberts Reveals the Secret to Overcoming Eye-Makeup Smudging

Mattie Roberts

Former Park Cities resident Mattie Roberts (aka Park Cities’ Louise Caldwell‘s daughter) occasionally posts beauty tips online via “The Mattie Roberts Show.”

Today’s segment is on the age-old problem of eye-makeup smudging. So maybe you already know how to avoid the evils of eye shadow creasing and which over-hyped mascara is a bunch of hooey, but having Mattie tell you is a hoot.

Can’t wait to see what she says in the Mattie’s No-Fail, Bikini-Ready Diet.

The photo is from 2009. Mattie looks even better than ever. She’s just got to have a “Dorian Gray portrait” stashed somewhere.

i’m disturbed by a trend i see a lot of on young teens: harsh black eyeliner and mascara. it give the otherwise young and pretty girl a 40 year-old bitter divorcee look (forgive me, my 40-year old bitter divorcee friends). just a lousy look on a 13 year-old.

“when you are young, your youth IS your beauty.” i think grace kelley or jackie o said that, and i wish our young girls would get it.

personally, i’m sick of putting it on. i do, but i’m so past getting excited about make-up. a necessary evil.

I think Mattie would be much prettier w/o all that makeup. Pretty smile.
    Pretty eyes.

Glad I am not the only one that thinks the amount of makeup she is wearing is absurd. She is a very pretty woman and would, at least in my opinion, look much better taking it down a notch or twelve.

Really people!!! It’s not that serious. Live and let live. I think Mattie Roberts is great. I take from her suggestions what applys to me personally. I certainly dont critisize others if the advise doesn’t apply to me. Mattie Roberts is a beautiful person with or without makeup. Who are you being? The ugly truth. Keep the advice comming Mattie, I appreciate you.

So odd that there have been comments on years old posts lately.
