Good Shepherd Students Share the Love

Good Shepherd Episcopal School students ventured out into the community to “share the love” on Valentine’s Day. Students visited Harry C. Withers Elementary School, the local Fire Station, Town North YMCA, The da Vinci School and The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd and its Parents’ Day Out program to deliver valentines, sing a song, and pass out pennies to remind recipients to continue spreading the love throughout the day!

Middle school students paired up with their lower school buddies last week to create valentines and posters to distribute while they “shared the love.”

Upon their return to Good Shepherd after delivering valentines, students spent time reflecting what they gave and what they received from spreading love throughout the community. Students agreed that, in addition to giving valentines and candy, they both gave and received new friendship, smiles and love. What better gift could you ask for on Valentine’s Day?
