I have to say that, after interviewing ball chair Cynthia Mitchell, there was no way I couldn’t be excited about the event themed “An Evening in Imperial Kyoto.” Mitchell was inspired after several trips to Japan, and with the help of Lamberts Landscape Company and several other partners, the interior of the Hilton Anatole Hotel will look just like Kyoto in spring, summer, fall, and winter.

“There’s some emphasis on Japanese art,” Mitchell said, “because Kyoto is filled with hundreds of Japanese gardens and temples.”
