Teens Wax On, Wax Off For Charity

Members of Highland Park High School’s Community Service Council organized a charity car wash for Sept. 11 benefiting Tuesday’s Children and Families of 9/11. The students washed more than 100 cars and raised a whopping $1,162.

The group scrubbed down cars small and large — including a University Park Fire Department engine.

“Have you ever washed a fire truck before? It’s huge!” said Laren Perez-Arnold. “But it was the best part of the day!”

Catch more photos of the car wash in this week’s Park Cities Two.
