Rusty Taco Opens Today

Yep, you read that right. Highland Park resident Rusty Fenton, co-founder of Uncle Julio’s, opened his namesake taqueria at University Boulevard and Greenville Avenue today. From the looks of Rusty’s Facebook pictures, seems like it’s going to be cool little joint. I’m meeting with the owner today to get the 4-1-1 on the eatery and to find out if there was any hesitation in naming it Rusty Taco. Come on, really? You can read all about it in the April 16 edition of Park Cities People.

Update: The opening was so successful that they ran out of food at about 3 p.m.! They’ll be fully stocked again by 7 a.m. tomorrow, so swing by and pick up a breakfast taco on your way to work.

Saw this place today on my way to Central Market and did wonder about the name. Didn’t it used to be Just Brakes?
