Other re-purposing of the Barbara A Hitzelberger letters, thanks to an internet anagram machine. Don’t waste those extra letters–we’ve already paid for them:

    A Barbarize Blah Regret
I like this one the best–the fountain is blah and most of us regret it.

    A Barbarize Lather Berg
In honor of the fountain soapers.

    A Grabbier Blather Raze

    A Area Grabber Blitz Her

    A Aha Grazer Briber Belt

I think the solution here is to turn the intersection into a toll plaza. Seems that every time you drive through there is money being thrown around. Let’s collect it in a basket and then we can have the fanciest 4-way stop in the country!

In the new fancy median on Hillcrest, right at Northwest Highway is a sign that says “UNIVERSITY PARK” that you would see heading South on Hillcrest into the Park Cities. Several weeks ago they finally put the lettering on it, it was a dark iridescent color. At night you could not see it at all – it just disappeared. I wondered what they would do about it. Now it’s different lettering all together, visable at night. All this about the re-lettering of the fountain has made me wonder – what did that relettering cost? And who’s silly idea were the first letters anyway?

I wonder how far the money for re-lettering would go for fixing pot-holes in the streets and alleys around here. That would be a much better use of our money.

Omg Barbara is my great great grandmother!!! I never knew that she had a fountain named after her!!! I…I can’t believe it! I am very glad about this fountain and all of you people are being very ungrateful about it!
