Franklin Drama Delves ‘Into The Woods’

Franklin Middle School drama students are hard at work reviving Steven Sondheim’s 1986 Tony award-winning fairy tale mash-up Into the Woods. The show weaves several well-known stories–Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood–into a seamless musical production.

Producers are mum at this point about what is certain to be a star-studded cast. But you’d better act soon. The play runs tonight at 7:30 p.m., then tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 and 7:30 p.m at the school. Tickets are available from Franklin drama students or at the door: $2 for daytime student admission, $4 for evening admission for students and adults, and $6 for reserved seats.

Commemorative T-shirts are available for $10.
